Job summary

Scotland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Tech to join the Nursing Float Pool. The 7p–7a shift focuses on routine personal care, patient mobility, positioning, transfers, and supporting nurses.

Requirements include an active North Carolina CNA listing, BLS American Heart certification, and at least 1 year of CNA experience; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Computer skills are preferred for records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Implements infection control measures and adheres to safety guidelines.

The age categories to be included are: Neonatal/Infant 0 - 11 months; Pediatrics 1 – 12 yrs; Adolescence 13 - 17 yrs; Young Adult/Adult 18 – 64 yrs; Adult/Middle-Aged 65 - 79 yrs; Geriatric 80+ yrs11.Responsible for self growth and education to maintain competence.12.Maintains a clean, neat, orderly working area.13.Performs other related duties as necessary or required.
