Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible (Must apply within seven days of hire).
• Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire.
• Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure.
• MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Recent bedside care experience in a health care environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a dynamic range of duties and functions throughout the hospital.
• Assist in basic nursing care, transportation of patients, and clerical functions.
• Apply interpersonal skills when providing care for patients across diverse groups.
• Collaborate with health care practitioner or registered nurse for quality care.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant-Registered Certification Eligible

MA-R credential eligibility within 60 days

Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure

MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R

Current BLS Certification

Recent bedside care experience
