The Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Patient Care Tech delivers compassionate assistance to patients, supporting daily living activities and basic nursing tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

This full-time role requires a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification, and CPI within 90 days. Preferred CNA certification and Florida CNA license. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to ensure safe, quality patient care.

Up to $6,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

License/Certification:

NA

Preferred:

Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program, Florida-issued CNA license, or completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program.

Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer into role date.
