Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Night shift. You will aid patients with daily activities and provide basic nursing care, while ensuring a safe, clean unit and supporting cross-training for staff.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent patient experiences, documenting care activities, and assisting with transport. Certification requirements include BLS and Florida CNA or RN preliminaries; CPI within 90 days is mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• CNA license in Florida or RN first semester required.
• BLS certification required; CPI within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification preferred.

Job Summary

Job Type: Full Time

Up to $6,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

• Required: High School diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program
