Qualified PCTs, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are looking for PCTs with inpatient/hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Minimal requirements include:

  • High school diploma
  • A Maryland CNA License
  • At least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years
  • Proficient in phlebotomy, starting IVs, EKG

Clinical Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital have the opportunity to provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to ensure all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of off-unit training, offering interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Neuroscience Critical Care Unit (NCCU), is a 24-bed ICU at the forefront of advancing neurological care, committed to excellence, research, and optimal patient outcomes. Our NCCU specializes in treating complex neurological disorders such as strokes (including post-tPA), ALS, Guillain-Barré syndrome, seizures, and more.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma
  • One year of clinical experience (e.g., home care, outpatient, acute care) within the last two years in a relevant setting; volunteer work as EMT or CRT may be considered.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification

Salary Range: Minimum $17.37/hour - Maximum $26.13/hour. Compensation will be based on experience and role scope.
