Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day-shift, full-time Medical-Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT). You will work under nursing supervision to provide basic patient care and support the nursing team in daily activities.

Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities, observing progress and reporting to the Registered Nurse, and recording vital signs and collecting specimens for lab tests. A supportive environment with opportunities for growth awaits.

Qualifications

• Must have completed some high school education.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Equivalency; Certification as a PCT or CNA.
