Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
- Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to the Nurse.
- Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
Qualifications
- Must have completed some high school education.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency.
- Completion of high school PCT competencies.
- Certification as a PCT (Certified Care Technician) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant).
