Job summary

BSA Health System is seeking a day-shift, full-time Medical Surgical Patient Care Technician (PCT) in Amarillo, TX. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision and assist with activities of daily living.

The role requires completing some high school education and obtaining BLS within 14 days of hire, with preferred PCT or CNA certifications. Join a team focused on compassionate care and community health.

Qualifications

• Must have completed some high school education.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work in an entry-level position providing basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and other ADLs.
• Observe patients’ progress to prepare and disseminate reports to the Registered Nurse.
• Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens for lab tests.
