Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Med Surg Unit 31. The role supports patient care delivery on a fast-paced unit, with day shift hours from 6a–6p, full-time with weekend/holiday coverage.

Responsibilities include collecting data, reporting findings to the nurse, assisting with admissions, discharges, and daily living activities, while maintaining safety and documentation standards.

Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial, 800 W. Randol Mill Road in Arlington, TX 76012.

Work hours: Full Time, Day Shift (6a to 6p), 3 shifts, 36 hours per week.Weekend and holiday requirements. Growth potential and complete benefits available.

What You Will Do

Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.

• Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.

• In collaboration/consultation with the nurse, adapts care to reflect patient population.
• In collaboration/consultation with nurse, incorporates cultural/religious needs and beliefs into delivery of care.
• Keeps patient environment clean and maintains safe environment.
• Anticipates patient/family and visitor needs and takes action to meet those needs and rounds as appropriate
