Job summary

Methodist McKinney Hospital in McKinney, TX is hiring a patient care Associate (CNA/MA preferred) to support daily clinical operations. You will observe and report patient status, assist with activities of daily living, and help with examinations under supervision.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, transferring and repositioning patients, and maintaining safety and care standards. Prior patient care experience is strongly preferred; applicable certifications may be required.

Qualifications

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant certification preferred.
  • Minimum of two years patient care experience preferred.

  • Makes occupied and unoccupied beds.
  • Maintains current knowledge and certification requirements.
  • Attends all required Safety Training programs and can describe his/her responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety and specific job-related hazards.
  • Respects and regards the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
