Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Patient Care Tech for overnight, per diem shifts to assist patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care. You will support clinical staff and help maintain a safe, clean unit environment.

The role emphasizes cross-training to Unit Associate and serving as a preceptor to PCTs, with required CNA experience or CMA background and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and Nurse Assistant Course.
• Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Nursing Assistant Certification
• Minimum Experience: Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing care.
• Maintains a safe and clean unit environment and participates in routine tasks.
• Cross-trained to Unit Associate and serves as a clinical preceptor to PCTs.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
