Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior acute care and patient care experience preferred.
• Current Florida CNA license and BLS certification required.
• Formal Certified Nursing Assistant training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports for shift on time and prepared to assume responsibilities.
• Assists RN/LPN in patient care and gathers information to support care.
• Adheres to infection control procedures and standard precautions.
• Participates as a cooperative team member and maintains professional conduct.
• Maintains safety, confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies.
