Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Temple, TX seeks a Patient Care Technician to support licensed nurses and deliver patient care. Night shift, full-time, at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – McLane.

You will collect data, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, respond to call lights, and help with admissions, hygiene and discharge processes, while adhering to care plans and policies. This role emphasizes teamwork and ongoing training within the health system.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data, vital signs, and assist with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
• Take care of patient personal hygiene and assist with clean up.
