Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT), CNA or MA to join Short Stay. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, the PCT provides direct patient care, supports age-specific, developmental and cultural needs, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and compassionate patient/family environment.

Shifts available include 6:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 10:30pm-7:00am, 7:00pm-7:00am, and 7:00am-7:00am.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, toileting, mobility and feeding as part of ADLs.
• Collect specimens including blood and blood cultures.
• Insert and remove peripheral IV catheters and record data for documentation.
