Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to support patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help maintain a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, EKG/phlebotomy training, and BLS certification; prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must complete EKG and phlebotomy courses with initial competency.
• Maintain BLS healthcare provider training.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, glucose, I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• All other duties as assigned.
