Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician (PCT) for Medical Telemetry. The role supports daily living activities, vital signs, mobility, phlebotomy, EKG, and specimen collection under RN direction.

Qualified candidates hold a HS diploma and appropriate Sentara certifications (CNA/NCMA/NCPCT) or equivalent training; current clinical students may apply. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible for Sentara Care Partner, CNA, NCMA, NCPCT or related certificate.
• EMR/EMS/EMT/AEMT or Paramedic training accepted.
• Currently enrolled in a clinical program (RN/LPN/RT/PT) with at least one completed semester.
• Last 3 years of work as a PCT or Nursing Assistant is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assist with activities of daily living under supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKG tests, and IV removal as qualified.
