Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of licensed clinicians. The role supports an interprofessional team, patient comfort, safety, and efficient unit operations.

Responsibilities include patient rounds, responding to call lights, assisting with telehealth activities, and ensuring a respectful, dignified care environment for diverse patients across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with and supports the interprofessional team, patient, family and designated care partners.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care activities under supervision.
• Maintains a safe patient care environment.
• Assists with supplies and equipment for unit operations.
• Conducts patient rounds and responds to patient call lights promptly.
• May support telehealth and virtual safety as needed.
• May facilitate clinical exams with peripheral devices as required.
