Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• 1 year of patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep patient rooms tidy and sanitized
• Assist patient with daily needs (hygiene, toileting, grooming)
• Monitor vital signs and patient condition
• Assist nursing staff with basic treatments
• Ensure rooms have adequate patient care supplies
• Provide emotional support to patients
• Place patient on cardiac monitor
• Perform blood sugar checks
• Assist with other duties as assigned by department leader
