Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff with basic patient care and comfort. You will assist with hygiene, vital signs, meal service, and supplies while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Required are a Nursing Assistant program completion, BLS/CPR, CPI within 90 days, and a high school diploma or GED. Prior acute care experience is a plus; benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a nursing assistant program is required.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS/CPR certification is required; Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire/transfer.
• Preferred: 6 months acute care and/or clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities and comfort.
• Assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, and bed linen changes.
• Serve/collect food trays and assist with nourishment as needed.
• Utilize computer-driven patient care equipment and communicate effectively.
