Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join the Cardiac Telemetry Unit on a part-time days schedule (7a-7p). Weekend and holiday availability is required. A $1,250 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

As a Patient Care Tech, you’ll support licensed staff, assist patients with daily living activities, and demonstrate competence with treatments and equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting. Prior hospital experience and BLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous hospital patient care experience.
• BLS certification required; certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed staff and hospital policy.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment in a clinical setting.
