Atlantic Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for the AMG Multispecialty group in Cedar Knolls, NJ. This full-time day position supports doctors and nurses in delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

You will assist with vital signs, mobility, minor procedures, and room preparation, while documenting patient data and maintaining supplies. A high school diploma and BLS are required, with healthcare experience preferred.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with care team.
• 6 months healthcare experience with patient care preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist doctors and nursing staff in meeting basic patient needs.
• Record and monitor vital signs, weights and heights.
• Assist with patient mobility: ambulation and transfers.
• Perform EKGs when needed.
• Assist with wound care, vaccinations and blood draws as needed.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to physician.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure supplies are ready.
• Document patient information accurately (vital signs, weight, height, temp).
• Maintain equipment and inventory; support all assigned duties.
• Communicate with diverse patient groups with attention to detail.
