CarolinaEast Health System is a 350-bed hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services in North Carolina. The Patient Care Tech I role supports nurses and staff by performing assigned tasks, including basic patient care, clerical duties, and NA I skills, under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Nurses Aide I certificate, and familiarity with medical terminology. Prior acute care experience is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalency is required or completion of AA Early College Program with transcripts.
• Nurses Aide I certificate listed with NC Department of Facilities Services.
• Some understanding of medical terminology is expected.
• At least one year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Mansioni

• Assists nursing staff by performing assigned duties for patients and staff under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
• Includes secretarial functions and NA I skills.
