Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the ER team during day shifts in Little Rock, AR. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care, basic monitoring, and maintaining strong communication with patients and families.

Qualifications

• 12 college level credit hours that include English Composition with a C or higher.

• Service industry experience preferred but not required.

Job description

Summary

The primary function of the PCT is to assist the patient and family with basic patient care, monitoring, hygiene, and to help ensure care is complete. The PCT works as an essential part of the patient care team. As the member who spends most of their time in the presence of the patient, compassion, caring, and excellent human interaction skills are necessary along with excellent communication skills both to and from the patient and family, and to and from the rest of the healthcare team.
