Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Centennial (Frisco) is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator to perform clerical and patient care duties under licensed nurse supervision. The role supports the unit with data collection, vital signs, and daily living activities.

The position is full-time days with three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends, located in Frisco, TX. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered based on eligibility and benefits from a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Ability to relate professionally with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Gather and record patient data and vital signs.
• Record observations and report to nursing staff promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Handle clerical tasks and maintain patient records and unit documentation.
• Greet visitors, answer phones and coordinate communications.
• May act as sitter for patients needing close observation.
• Assist with transport of supplies and patients within the unit.
