Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience is preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age.
• A current certification must be maintained in the state of Kansas.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• bedside nursing care
• care of the patient’s unit
• answer the patient’s call light
• report all useful information to nurse
• assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
• obtain and record vital signs
• observe and record information about patient’s condition
• assist with pre- and post-op cares
• assist with patient positioning
