Job summary

PCH Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV is seeking a patient care position that supports licensed staff by performing direct and indirect patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports patient concerns to a registered nurse.
• Assists the RN with admission, transfer, discharge, and daily care.
• Records vital signs and helps with personal hygiene and comfort.
• Records intake/output and assists with specimens when needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment to prevent infections.
• Relays messages and assists with departmental administrative tasks.
• Communicates nutrition concerns to the RN.
• Answers patient call bells and coordinates with staff.
