Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes assisting with delegated patient care tasks and supporting a busy acute care department.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in an acute care setting or are currently enrolled in a nursing program, with current BLS certification required upon hire.

The Patient Care Technician (PCT)

The PCT delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated patient care services in accordance with the PCT’s skills/training and the needs of the department. The PCT works under the supervision of the registered nurse (RN).

Education

• A minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in acute care setting or currently enrolled in Nursing Program, preferred.

Skills

• Must be able to read and write English.

Licenses/Certifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire.
