Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to work under the Nurse Manager and licensed staff at Bradley Medical Center. You will provide routine, high-quality patient care and assist with daily living activities across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

In addition to clinical duties, you will perform clerical tasks, maintain accurate patient records, and support the care team during procedures while upholding professional standards and the organization's PRIDE values.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.
• Experience: One-year nursing assistant preferred. One-year patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collect non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration).
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures as needed.
• Maintain and update patient records; ensure effective communication within the unit and across departments.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and promote a collaborative work environment.

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or licensed nursing staff, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides routine, high-quality patient carein accordance withBradley Medical Center’s established policies and procedures. Care is delivered based on the developmental and age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The PCTassistswith activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating, and collects non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration). They support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed and are expected todemonstrateflexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. In addition to clinical duties, the PCT provides essential clerical support within the nursing unit,maintainingand updating patient records, and ensuring effective communication and coordination within the unit and across departments. They are also expected toparticipatein performance improvement initiatives and help promote a collaborative work environment.

Education

Licenses/Certificates
