Bradley Medical Center, LLC in the Bradley region is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide routine, high-quality patient care under supervision of the Nurse Manager and licensed staff. You will assist with daily living activities and support the care team.

Qualifications include a minimum high school diploma or GED, and CNA experience preferred with BLS certification required upon hire; you will contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment and participate in performance

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care in accordance with Bradley Medical Center's policies and procedures.
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, eating) and monitor non-invasive vital signs.
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures and maintain effective communication across the unit and departments.
• Provide essential clerical support, maintain patient records, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or licensed nursing staff, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with Bradley Medical Center's established policies and procedures. Care is delivered based on the developmental and age-specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The PCT assists with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating, and collects non-invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration). They support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed and are expected to demonstrate flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. In addition to clinical duties, the PCT provides essential clerical support within the nursing unit, maintaining and updating patient records, and ensuring effective communication and coordination within the unit and across departments. They are also expected to participate in performance improvement initiatives and help promote a collaborative work environment.

Education

Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.

Experience

One-year experience as nursing assistant preferred. One-year patient care experience preferred.

Licenses/Certificates

Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred. BLS certification required immediately upon hire.
