Vitruvian Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support pediatric to geriatric patients under nursing supervision. You will provide routine care, assist with daily activities, and help with essential clerical tasks to keep the nursing unit running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum high school graduate or GED.
• Experience: One‑year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
• Experience: One‑year patient care experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: CNA certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
• BLS certification required immediately upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine, high‑quality patient care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collect non‑invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IVs).
• Support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed.
• Maintain patient records and ensure effective communication within the unit.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and cross‑department collaboration.

Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or licensed nursing staff, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides routine, high-quality patient care in accordance with Bradley Medical Center's established policies and procedures. Care is delivered based on the developmental and age‑specific needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The PCT assists with activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, and eating, and collects non‑invasive specimens and vital signs (excluding IV administration). They support physicians and nursing staff during procedures when needed and are expected to demonstrate flexibility, cooperation, and professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and hospital personnel. In addition to clinical duties, the PCT provides essential clerical support within the nursing unit, maintaining and updating patient records, and ensuring effective communication and coordination within the unit and cross‑department. They are also expected to participate in performance improvement initiatives and help promote a collaborative work environment.

Education and Experience

• Education: Minimum high school graduate or G.E.D. required.
• Experience: One‑year experience as nursing assistant preferred.
• Experience: One‑year patient care experience preferred.
• Licenses/Certificates: Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred or enrolled in accredited nursing program preferred.
• BLS certification required immediately upon hire.
