Summit Hospital Show Low in Show Low, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Tech, Float - Full Time, Day Shift to support nursing staff with basic patient care, vital signs, hygiene, mobility, and safe patient handling.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, BLS CPR AED, and completion of required trainings within 30 days of hire; six months of clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• PCT I certification or higher
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS CPR AED Required
• 6 months experience in a clinical setting
• Certification within 30 days of hire

Aufgaben

• Provide basic patient care including vital signs, hygiene, mobility, nutrition and hydration support.
• Competent to perform Foley catheter care.
• Assist with post-mortem care.
• Promote a safe patient environment and HIPAA compliance.
• Assist nurses with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Document patient care and I&O; communicate with nursing and medical staff.
• Transport patients without a monitor.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
• Complete efficient patient rounding to enhance safety and experience.
