Job summary

Medical City North Hills is seeking a patient care technician to join a collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, monitor patients, assist with daily needs, and help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, transfers, and comfort, providing non-medicated care, maintaining clean and stocked areas, and supporting infection control and care plans. No travel is required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, organized and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to support safety and quality.
