Job summary

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care and maintaining a safe, welcoming patient environment. You will help with vital signs, mobility, personal care, and care plan monitoring to restore comfort and dignity.

You will work closely with RNs and the care team, performing non-medical tasks and ensuring clean, stocked spaces. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and clear communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support care and recovery.

• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
