Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, mobility, and specimen collection while maintaining a safe, clean unit under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, effective communication, and adherence to hospital policies, with opportunities to participate in telemetry and evidence-based care practices.

Qualifications

• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• No travel required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
• Record initial and ongoing patient information including vitals and intake/output.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living.
• Support specimen collection and timely labeling and transfer of samples.
• Assist with daily living activities and bed care; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Serve as Monitor/Telemetry Tech as needed.
• Engage in evidence-based practices to improve patient experience and safety.
