Hometown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide or assist in activities of daily living and emotional support for patients across age groups.

Under supervision of the unit manager or RN, duties include documenting patient care, maintaining supplies, and coordinating with other departments; requires BLS and NV CNA certification, valid driver license preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak English well.
• Six months CNA experience preferred.
• Must have a valid CA or NV driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Current BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Ability to obtain and maintain NV CNA certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Provide or assist in activities of daily living and emotional support for patients across ages.
• Ensure patient safety and body mechanics and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist in documenting patient care from pre-admission to discharge.
• Maintain unit supplies and interdepartmental communication.
• Schedule diagnostic tests and treatments per unit policies and procedures.
