Job summary

Premier Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Renal & Renal Transplant unit at Miami Valley Hospital. The role supports nurses and doctors in providing high-quality patient care during a 7PM–7:30AM shift, 24 hours per week.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a BLS CPR certification. Prior experience is not required, but STNA, CNA, or PCT training is a plus. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS CPR certification required or provided at orientation.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining patient safety and warmth.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs and monitor temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Assist patients with movement, dressing, and meals.
• Collect samples such as urine as directed.
• Report changes to a nurse promptly.
• Support patient walks, hygiene, and daily activities.
