Job summary

Conway Regional Health System in Conway, AR seeks a Patient Care Tech to support the care team and help meet department goals. You will assist with personal needs, comfort, and basic activities, always prioritizing patient safety and dignity.

You will perform delegated tasks within the scope of unlicensed assistive personnel and collaborate with nurses and other staff. A high school diploma and BLS training are required or preferred; CNA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, training included

Job description

Overview

The Patient Care Tech will assume responsibility and accountability for providing support services to ensure continuity of care and help to meet the department goals as directed by the health care team. The Patient Care Tech will perform patient care activities in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. They will assist patients with personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care, use of equipment and other clinical and administrative tasks which are delegated and assigned. The Patient Care Tech will perform delegated support functions and patient care duties that are within the scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel. The Patient Care Tech will demonstrate a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts.

SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

This position is a designated as “Safety Sensitive Position” under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services.

Qualifications
