Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the Laboratory team on day shifts. Under supervision, you will assist with patient care and perform essential procedures to aid diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities include EKGs, finger sticks, phlebotomy and PKU testing, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and compassionate patient communication. A High School diploma and current BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous experience as a PCT preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties in the treatment and care of patients under supervision.

Day Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America)
Under the supervision and direction of the Laboratory perform various duties and functions in the treatment and care of patients. Specific duties include but are not limited , Performs EKG’s and finger stick, Phlebotomy and PKU’S

Requirements :

Current BLS certification required.

Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: $29.218/hr - $30.671
