Job summary

Safety Harbor Surgery Center seeks a Patient Care Technician on a PRN basis to support a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. You will assist with linens, ambulation, transport, vital signs, and inspections of the patient environment while ensuring safety and comfort.

The role requires CPR/BLS and a high school diploma; CNAs or medical assistants are preferred. The setting emphasizes teamwork, efficiency, and quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• CNA or MA or other certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.

Job Description and Duties:

Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR or BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
• Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.
