Job summary

Southwest Endoscopy and Surgicenter is hiring a Patient Care Tech for a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with some Saturdays offered at premium pay. In a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center, you will support patient care and help ensure smooth examinations and procedures.

The role emphasizes direct patient assistance, safety, and teamwork within USPI’s network dedicated to delivering high-quality ambulatory care.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Current CPR or BLS. CNA, MA or other certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrates necessary clinical competency.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
  • Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
  • Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
  • Delivers surgical and procedural services efficiently to exceed customer expectations.

Job Description:

  • Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations
