HSHS-St.-Mary in Decatur, IL seeks a patient care support role under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver direct and indirect care within defined scope of practice. You will act as a versatile member of the care team, providing clinical support and a comforting presence to help patients reach their highest level of wellness.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED; completion of a Medical Assistant, CNA, or Patient Care Technician program or an active EMT license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant, CNA, or Patient Care Technician program or active EMT license required.
• 1 year of patient/clinical care experience may substitute education.

Pay Range:$17.00 - $23.80A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice.
