HSHS St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support the med/surg unit. The role focuses on nursing support and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have CNA or PCT credentials or 6 months of related experience, with BLS due within 30 days of hire. Schedule is 36 hours per week on the night shift, with every-other-weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience and certification as indicated below.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice is required with 6 months experience as noted above.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support on the med/surg unit.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Support nursing staff with routine patient care tasks as needed.
