Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking an Medical Assistant to support nursing leadership with direct patient care, patient calls, and refill processing. The role includes diagnostic testing, documentation in EPIC EMR, and maintaining clean, stocked rooms.

Under supervision, you will administer medications, follow clinic protocols, and assist in procedures as needed while upholding HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Monday–Friday schedule applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant experience or CNA/EMT/PCT with direct patient care.
• Graduate of a medical assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, takes vital signs, and prepares for exam.
• Administers medications under physician direction.
• Performs diagnostic tests (EKGs, audiograms, spirometry) and documents in EPIC EMR.
• Reviews refill baskets and triage calls.
• Maintains stocked patient rooms and supplies.
