Sinai Hospital is seeking a patient sitter to observe assigned patients under RN supervision and ensure patient safety. You will communicate promptly with patients, families, and visitors, and redirect situations to maintain a safe care environment.
The role involves recognizing hazards and taking appropriate action, with no ADL, documentation, or caregiver duties. Basic Life Support certification and less than one year of experience are required.
Functions under the supervision of the RN in a cooperative effort with the health care team to directly observe and correctly redirect assigned patient. Promptly and effectively communicates with patient, family, and visitors. Recognizes hazards to patient safety and take appropriate action. Sitter does not perform ADLs, documentation, or care giver functions.
Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.59 Based On Experience
