Planned Parenthood of Central and Western New York (PPCWNY) is seeking a Patient Care Specialist in Batavia, NY and Rochester, NY to lead patient intake, education, and coordination with health center staff. The role emphasizes prompt, courteous, confidential, and caring service in a fast-paced environment.

You will support clinicians, manage EHR entries, and assist with lab samples, referrals, and patient scheduling while upholding privacy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a clinical role.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information under HIPAA.
• Flexible schedule and travel between sites as needed.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients, verify demographics, insurance, and eligibility.
• Record data in EHR and collect specimens as ordered.
• Support clinicians in exam rooms with patient education.
• Open/close exam rooms and maintain supplies and documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and scheduling per PPCWNY guidelines.
