Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville is seeking a Patient Care Partner for the float pool on the night shift (11:00 pm–7:15 am) with rotating weekends and holidays. You will support nurses at the bedside, assist with basic clinical tasks, and help maintain patient comfort.

The role requires a High School Diploma, patient care training or phlebotomy/EKG certification, BLS, and at least one year of relevant experience, including nursing assistant duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Phlebotomy and EKG certifications or demonstrated ECG experience.
• One year as Nursing Assistant preferred and BLS verified.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and EKG procedures as needed.
• Monitor vital signs and provide bedside patient care.
• Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants to support care.

This is a full-time night shift position covering the float pool hours of 11:00pm – 7:15am with rotating weekends and holidays at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital located in Bronxville; right across from the Metro North Station.

Preferred Criteria

• Minimum of one year experience in psychiatry or related field

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of approved Patient Care Tech Program or a Phlebotomy Certification and EKG Certification or demonstrated experience in performing electrocardiograms
• One year experience as a Nursing Assistant
• BLS Certification
