Job description

ScionHealth is a national healthcare system of hospitals that delivers outstanding care by supporting those who care most. With a team of dedicated and compassionate healthcare professionals, we put our caregivers at the forefront of everything we do and every choice we make. How? By providing them with tools, technology and resources that enable exceptional experiences for those we care for at every moment. At ScionHealth, our caregivers have a passion for providing better care, everywhere, and we give them everything they need to feel empowered to do what they do best -- provide healing to those who need it, when and where they need it.

ScionHealth By The Numbers
  • 75 Specialty Hospitals
  • 17 Community Hospital Campuses
  • 28 States Served
  • 25,000 Team Members
Specialty Hospitals

We operate 76 long-term post-acute care hospitals (or LTACHs) in 28 states under the name Kindred Hospitals, a premiere network of specialty hospitals for more than 35 years. At these facilities, interdisciplinary, physician-led teams deliver quality-driven hospital-based care for the most vulnerable, clinically-complex and post-intensive patient populations. Our LTACHs offer the same in-depth care patients would receive in a traditional hospital's intensive care unit, but for an extended period of time needed for recovery.

Empowering Our People both Personally and Professionally

By trusting your experiences and expertise, we strive to provide resources that enable the growth and development of our caregivers so you can do what you do best: heal.

By listening to what truly matters to our people, we provide a comprehensive and diverse set of benefits to support employees both at work and in life.

ScionHealth is committed to building a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion among its workforce at all of its facilities. This commitment ensures that as a member of our team, you can provide care in a work environment that values your contribution and maximizes your potential.

Some of our efforts to support our diverse team include sponsoring Employee Resource Groups and awarding full-tuition scholarships for eligible employees who are Black, Indigenous, or people of color (BIPOC) through a partnership with Purdue University Global. Based on nominations from team members, we also provide grants to nonprofit organizations that are making a positive impact and helping reduce inequities and disparities in education, healthcare and access to social services in communities where ScionHealth team members live and work.
