Job summary

Vanderbilt Health in Nashville, TN seeks compassionate Care Partners (Nursing Assistants) to assist with patient care under a licensed nurse’s supervision. The role includes venipuncture support, Foley catheter care, specimen collection, and bedside duties.

We offer part-time schedules (30 hours/week), 2nd shift, and orientation during the first week. Prior care experience and Nursing Assistant training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience plus one of: RN program enrollment (first semester completed) or Nursing Assistant/Aide Training Program completion or at least one year of care partner/ nursing assistant experience.
• Nursing Assistant training certificate or recent experience in care roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with day-to-day patient care delivery.
• Support efficient patient flow by following unit standards.
• Serve as liaison for patient and family education needs.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and unit environment.
