Job summary

Singing River Health System in Pascagoula, MS seeks a Panel Care Coordinator to bridge the Medical Team and patients. The role provides first-line support for electronic and telephone queries and helps gather and convey information to the Medical Team for timely treatment plans.

Work Mon–Fri, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, reporting to the Population Health Manager. Requires two years MA experience and a Medical Assistant program; supervision, documentation, and patient interaction are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required; Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience as MA.
• Certifications from AAMA, NAHP, AMT, MedCA, NHA; or RMA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as intermediary between Medical Team and patient; convey pertinent information for timely treatment plans.
• Provide first-line support to electronic and telephone queries; gather, synthesize and transmit information to the Medical Team.
