Singing River Health System in Ocean Springs is looking for a Medical Office Coordinator to welcome and assist patients, ensuring smooth clerical operations in the clinic.

The role includes answering phones, scheduling, chart handling, coding and billing, referrals, and insurance verification, while supporting the Practice Administrator/Office Manager in their absence. We value teamwork and patient-focused service.

Formación

• Minimum of two years' progressively responsible medical office experience.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• CPT and ICD coding experience preferred.
• Insurance and precertification experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answering phones and directing patient needs.
• Scheduling appointments and managing referrals.
• Scanning and filing documents.
• Coding and billing.
• Handling insurance verification and precertification.
• Performing role of Practice Manager during absence.
